Kurdgal Namek is a valuable masterpiece and treasure of ancient history of Kurds and Baloches.
This book is written in 1659 AD/1070 Hijra by Akhund Mohammad Saleh, a Zangana Kurd Baloch. The author was an educated statesman of high calibre. He joined the service of  Baloch Qalat Confederacy in 1659. He was promoted to the high rank of Grand Wazir and served five Brahui Baloch rulers in this capacity.

The importance of this book for Kurdish history is no less than Sharafana, commonly called the Bible of Kurdish history, as stated by renowned Kurdish philosopher, historian and linguist Jemal Nebez (see p.19, Kurdgal Namek).

This book is an authentic chorological account of Median Kurdish Baloch history. It indicates that Baloches are originally Median Kurds and migrated to their current place of habitation after the establishment of the Kurdish Median empire in 853 BC  on the orders of the Great Kurdish Median King Kaiqubad in order to protect the Eastern borders of the great Kurdish Median Empire. The Baloches  remained in their new conquered land until now and did not return to their original place of habitation located in the South of Caspian Sea.

The book narrates detailed accounts of Kurdish Baloch history in Great Media (including current Kurdistan, Iran, Balochistan, Afghanistan) during several historical ruling periods of Medians, Achmanids, Alexander the Great, Silocids, Ashkanis, Sasanis and Islamic Caliphs.

-The Origins of Baloches from the Median Kurds

My research is a concise and analytic study of the origins of Baloches and Brahuis from the Median Kurds.

The study undertakes the analysis on the basis of historical accounts of several old books and references, different migration periods of  Baloches and Brahuis and similarities of Balochi and Kurdish languages.

History of Baloch and Balochistan is a remarkable historical account of Kurds and Baloches. It is written by the renowned Baloch scholar and linguist Mir Naseer Khan Ahmadzai Baloch. The author published first volume of this book, which I have translated, in 1988 through Balochi Academy in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan in Pakistan.

This book can also be downloaded from www.kurdipedia.info and www.araspublisher.com.
